Anne Hathaway, now 43, is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, adding to their family of two sons. Her pregnancy news was a bit of a shocker, coming out during the global promo tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, which premiered in May. If you assumed Anne would slow down, think again. She’s been on a roll in 2026, promoting five films. First came Mother Mary, closely followed by The Odyssey in July, and The End of Oak Street in August.

Now she’s hitting the circuit again for Verity, the awaited film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel. During the Verity press tour, Anne’s whirlwind year has been a hot topic. She told Entertainment Tonight she’s planning a ‘little break’ before tackling her next project, Days of Thunder 2 with Tom Cruise. She joked, “After Verity hits theaters on October 2nd, I’m going to vanish like smoke. You won’t see me until you absolutely have to.”

Anne’s also been candid about not wanting excessive praise for working during her pregnancy. In an AP Entertainment chat, she said, “Let’s not overly praise the pampered actress. Many pregnant women work without fanfare.” Her co-star Josh Hartnett humorously referenced a satirical Onion piece about her busy release schedule. Anne laughed, saying she’s due for some rest soon. Her candidness has resonated, especially with expecting mothers who feel seen by her honesty.
